Baby Steps

We have all been there. Standing in the Baby Care aisle, not knowing what product is best for our baby. Bliss has counted and at times there can be over 15 lines of Baby Care products on the shelves. I know it sounds a little funny, but I have always called the struggle that each parent goes through to learn how to connect with and soothe their child, the dance. A child enters your life, whether it be your first, third, or fourth, whether it's by birth or adoption, one thing remains the common thread, you must learn to dance together. We continue to learn how to dance with our child throughout our lives and the steps change as soon as you learn them, so be ready!

I was recently contacted by a mompreneur (we love those!!) who created a product based on her need to organize her kitchen cabinets when it comes to baby food jars. I thought, I have to try this out! How many times have we struggled to organize those small jars? They constantly topple over or we can’t find a certain type because it’s hidden in the back. This idea is brilliant and I was just hoping it would live up to my expectations.

The Universal Baby Food Jar Storage & Organizer was shipped to me right away. PRK was confident I would love their product and eager for me to try it out.

When the product arrived, I have to say, it looked a little daunting with the amount of pieces it came in and I had to step away to gain my composure to attempt it’s assembly….once I began the process I realized that this would be VERY manageable. The instructions were simple and clear. The product was well marked and easy to assemble.

In the box you actually receive a product that grows with your baby! You can start with the small (2.5 ounce) jars and then it comes with supplemental pieces that allow you to store the larger (4 ounce) jars. I didn’t expect that! The unit stores 16 jars total, 4 of each kind and if you buy two of these products they can stack on top of each other! Brilliant!!

The organizer allows baby food jars to slide forward as you remove them so that you consistently have the jars at your finger tips. No searching for jars in a dark cabinet. Best of all it’s easy to take apart and clean. You can’t go wrong with this!

The only reason this product might not sell, at first glance, is because the package picture and product name do not do it justice! In the picture the product looks cheap and flimsy and the name is a little cumbersome….it is neither cheap and flimsy nor cumbersome!!

I would recommend this product for new parents and welcome any comments from those who have already tried it and can share their experiences.
